Degué – Cristallerie de Compiègne (1926-1939)
In 1926 the Cristallerie de Compiègne was founded by David Guéron. The signature Degué can usually be found in their glasses. It is derived from the name of the company founder: D (phonetic = De) and Gue. The glass factory mainly produced glasses for lamps, but also vases and table bowls. Degue glasses are easily recognized by their purely geometric or geometrically depicted floral motifs.
