Vase Manufaktur Verlys
This vase by Verlys is an example of fine glassware produced in France during the Art Deco period. The Verlys manufacture was founded in 1925 by an American named Joël Philip Myers and produced high-quality glassware in the Art Deco style. The manufacture quickly became known for its masterful craftsmanship and its ability to engrave complex and detailed patterns into the glass.
Verlys vases are a beautiful example of the Art Deco aesthetic that was popular in the 1920s and 1930s. The vase has a clear, oval shape with a geometric pattern engraving that is typical of the Art Deco style. The engraving shows a pattern of curved lines and circles interwoven with each other to achieve a dynamic and modern look.
The Verlys manufacture produced many different types of glassware in the Art Deco style, including vases, bowls, plates, and even lamps. The company was acquired by the French Cristallerie D’Arques in 1951 and still produces high-quality glassware today.
This oval Verlys vase is a rare find and a coveted collector’s item for Art Deco glassware enthusiasts.
