Art Deco stands for elegance, geometry, and uncompromising material quality. In my gallery in Wiesbaden, I present a selection of original furniture from the Parisian Art Deco period between 1925 and 1935. Each piece has been expertly restored and retains its authentic character. Fine woods such as rosewood, Makassar ebony, and walnut meet clean lines, balanced proportions, and timeless modernity. With approximately 300 curated objects, I offer collectors, design enthusiasts, and discerning interior designers exceptional originals—not reproductions, but genuine historical substance.Art Deco stands for elegance, geometry, and uncompromising material quality. Parisian Roots Paris 1925 –
The birth of Art Deco.

The style got its name from the legendary World’s Fair, the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris. Designers like Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann and André Domin shaped a new design language: luxurious, minimalist, architectural.
Curated for sophisticated interiors
My focus is on original Parisian Art Deco furniture:
Desks and ladies’ secretaries, chests of drawers and sideboards, mirrors with engraving or cut, bronzes and sculptures, lamps from the 1920s and 30s, tables and seating, dining tables and sideboards, glass vases and bookends
Each object is carefully inspected, restored, and documented. I don’t work with mass-produced items, but with unique pieces of character.
Original substance. No reproductions.
In my gallery you will find exclusively original furniture from that era.
The restoration is carried out with care to preserve the existing substance and with respect for the historical structure. The goal is not “new”, but authentic perfection.
Especially in international comparison – for example, compared to purely decorative reproductions – original Art Deco furniture differs in the following ways:
- solid body construction, high-quality veneer work, precise proportions, handcrafted details.
