Clérice Frères and Art Deco

Clérice Frères, a well-known Parisian design firm, created innovative and aesthetically appealing designs. They favoured geometric forms and stylised figures. The poster’s colours and composition therefore radiate a timeless elegance that appears both modern and classical. Paris, as a centre of art, fashion and design, also nurtured the social dynamism of the 1920s. At the same time, the poster is a decorative testament to a flourishing cultural period, combining creativity with historical atmosphere.

Framing and Presentation

Experts at a specialist workshop recently reframed this historic poster to preserve its originality and protect its beauty. The harmonious frame shields it from external influences while bringing out its clear lines and vivid colours. This enhances its visual impact and creates a stylish overall presentation. The result is decorative and also of interest to collectors, bringing craftsmanship and design together.

An Attractive Collector’s Item

This poster is a compelling example of early twentieth-century art and design. As a valuable object, it brings together artistic design and professional framing, making it appealing to admirers of Art Deco and the history of graphic art. It tells a story of creativity and cultural vitality that continues to fascinate today. Its elegance and historical depth enrich an interior and invite closer contemplation.

Another poster from this period is the Art Deco poster.
