Large Petitot ceiling lamp
The large Petitot ceiling lamp from France, made around 1930, is an outstanding example of the elegant design and masterful craftsmanship of the Art Deco era. Its striking appearance combines fine materials with a clear, geometric design characteristic of this style.
The lamp body is made of high-quality brass, still retaining its original nickel plating. This finish gives the lamp a subtle, shiny silver sheen that reflects the light in a sophisticated way, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. The brass frame features a symmetrical, well-proportioned shape, typical of the designs of the famous French designer Henri Petitot.
Particularly noteworthy are the glass rods, which act as diffusers and distribute the light softly and evenly throughout the room. These glass rods are precisely arranged and emphasize the characteristic lines of the era. Their clear or slightly satin-finished glass creates a pleasant lighting effect that is both functional and decorative.
Another stunning model is this one.
