The clean, blocky front is visually softened by the gently rounded right side and the horizontal metal bar. This is a typical detail of the sophisticated bar furniture of the 1920s. Behind the doors is a mirrored interior with shelves for glasses and bottles. When opened, it creates the impression of a small home bar, like those found in the Parisian and Berlin salons of the time.
