Cubist cabinet

The Cubist Art Deco cabinet from France circa 1930 is a notable example of the fusion of Cubist and Art Deco influences that were popular in French furniture making during this period. Made from fine rosewood and black lacquer, this cabinet exudes a timeless elegance that is typical of the Art Deco style.

Sde flanks of cabinet are finished in black lacquer and taper towards the bottom, giving the piece of furniture a striking silhouette. “Mustache” foot, also in black lacquer, is characteristic of the Art Deco style and underlines the aesthetics of the cabinet.

The body of the cabinet is carefully crafted from rosewood and features original fittings that give the piece of furniture additional visual sophistication. The stepped top is another feature of the Art Deco design, giving the cabinet a dynamic and attractive look.

Inside the cabinet there are four shelves that provide enough storage space for storing clothes, dishes or other items.

Overall, this cubist Art Deco cabinet is a wonderfully preserved piece that is not only functional but also a work of art in its own right. Its refined aesthetics and high-quality craftsmanship make it a sought-after collector’s item for lovers of 1930s design.

This wonderful cabinet is a real eye-catcher, as is this Art Deco bar.
