Large Art Deco Desk
This large Art Deco desk comes from Belgium and was made around 1940 by the renowned De Coene & Frères workshop. The desk is fully veneered with mahogany and constructed on mahogany, giving it an elegant and high-quality appearance. It can be placed freely in the room, making it a flexible piece of furniture that can be viewed from all sides.
The desk has four spacious drawers that provide ample storage space for documents and other office supplies. At the back there are two doors that lead to further compartments and provide additional storage options. The original locks and fittings have been preserved, which underlines the historical and aesthetic value of the furniture. In addition, the original brass sabots, protective caps on the feet, are also present, giving the desk additional elegance and protection.
This desk is not only a functional piece of furniture, but also a real collector’s item that perfectly reflects the craftsmanship and design of the Art Deco style from the mid-20th century.
