Large Art Deco desk
The large Art Deco desk comes from Belgium and was made around 1940 in the De Coene workshop, a well-known furniture manufacturer of the time that was famous for high-quality and stylish Art Deco furniture. The striking design of this desk combines functionality with elegance. The four drawers offer ample storage space, while two doors with compartments on the back provide additional space for documents or office supplies.
It is particularly noteworthy that the desk has the original locks and fittings, which underlines its authenticity. Another highlight are the original nickel-plated sabots (metal caps on the feet), which not only give the piece of furniture a special aesthetic touch, but also serve as a protective and decorative element. This desk is an impressive example of the elegant and luxurious Art Deco furniture design, which combines clean lines, fine materials and a touch of glamour.
Another desk is this Art Deco desk signed by “Vuillaume”.
