Art Deco sideboard
Exquisite Art Deco sideboard with display cabinet, France, circa 1925. The body with mustache feet is divided into two separate areas: a cupboard and a display cabinet with two glass shelves, mirrored sides and back wall. There are two adjustable shelves in the cupboard. The top is formed by a black, applied glass plate. Original fittings and locks give this piece an additional touch of elegance and sophistication.
The Art Deco style was largely shaped by architects of this glamorous era – straight lines and perfect elegance served the highest demands of a clientele who were not satisfied with mediocrity but placed great value on balanced proportions.
