Art Deco Chest of drawers

This elegant Art Deco chest of drawers comes from France and was made around 1930. It embodies the characteristic aesthetics of Art Deco, a style known for its geometric shapes, luxurious materials and penchant for exclusivity. The body of the chest of drawers is made of oak wood, which has been finished with a high-quality precious wood and black lacquer veneer. The combination of these two materials gives the piece of furniture a sophisticated, high-contrast look that ideally reflects the Art Deco design. The warm, dark grain of the rosewood harmonizes perfectly with the deep, glossy surface of the black lacquer and gives the chest of drawers a noble and timeless elegance. The chest of drawers has four drawers that are accentuated by nickel-plated metal fittings. These metal applications not only emphasize the geometric lines of the chest of drawers, but also add a touch of modernity, which is typical of Art Deco.

The clear, reduced shapes and the high-quality materials make this piece of furniture an outstanding example of the craftsmanship and design of this era. With its simple but luxurious appearance, this chest of drawers fits perfectly into modern and classic interiors and is a testament to the masterful craftsmanship of French furniture makers of the 1930s.

This piece of furniture is an eye-catcher and should be decorated with its peers, for example with this Art Deco horse made of bronze.
