Miklós Németh (1926-2012) was a Hungarian painter known for his realistic still lifes. He was born in Budapest and studied at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts. After graduating, he worked as an illustrator before devoting himself entirely to painting.
Németh’s works are characterized by a meticulous attention to detail and a subtle use of light and shadow. He mainly painted still lifes and landscapes, preferring a realistic depiction of everyday objects such as fruit, vegetables, crockery and flowers.
