Rare skin casket

The Art Deco box you described originates from France and was made between 1925 and 1930. It is made of beech wood and covered with stingray skin, which is a typical material for Art Deco boxes. Stingray skin was a popular material for furniture and accessories during this time as it is very resistant and durable, while also having a beautiful texture and color.

The box also has two small bone boxes with lids that are set into the box. These boxes were likely used to store jewelry or other small items. Bone was also a popular material for Art Deco furniture and accessories as it has a light color and can create a smooth, polished surface.

Art Deco is a style that was popular in the 1920s and 1930s and is known for its clean lines, geometric shapes, and stylized designs. Boxes like this were an important part of Art Deco design and were often used to store jewelry, cigars, or other small items.

a nice place for this rare casket could be the nest of tables.
