Black Lacquer Art Deco Chest of Drawers

France, circa 1930. A four-drawer Art Deco chest with stepped sides, raised on a low plinth. The black lacquered body is topped with its original Brèche d’Alep marble slab. The long metal drawer handles retain their nickel-plated finish.
