Art Deco Coffee Tables
Rare pair of round Art Deco coffee tables, produced in the late Art Deco period around 1950. Expertly restored and finished in a deep high-gloss polish, the tables are veneered in luxurious rosewood with a vivid, flame-like grain flowing across the top and lower shelf. The tabletops feature a particularly rich marquetry pattern of intersecting rosewood triangles, creating a dynamic, graphic surface. A fine maple string inlay encircles the round tops and further accentuates the pure geometry.
The architectural construction with three vertical supports and a continuous lower shelf gives the tables a sculptural presence while providing practical storage for books, large volumes or barware. As an original matching pair they are exceptionally rare on today’s market and make a strong statement in front of an Art Deco sofa, in a contemporary loft or within an elegant Mid-Century setting. An ideal choice for collectors and interior designers who appreciate fine woods and timeless Art Deco sophistication.
To complement this Art Deco coffee table with even more beauty, this pair of Art Deco armchairs, Paris circa 1925, would be perfect. This delicate Art Nouveau cabinet is also a real eye-catcher.
