Art Deco console
This elegant Art Deco console from France is clearly and precisely designed in detail. Two half-columns serve as supports for the top plate and are arranged symmetrically. The bases of the half-columns are triple-stepped and stand on a slightly rising, double-stepped pedestal. In the middle, a quadruple-edged pilaster rises upwards in a sweeping manner and thus also serves as a support.
The Art Deco style was largely shaped by architects of this glorious era – straight-lined design and perfect elegance like this black Art Deco console served the highest demands of a clientele who were not satisfied with mediocrity but placed great value on balanced proportions.
To protect the sensitive top plate, a black-colored glass plate was newly made and expertly glued on.Consoles of this type are particularly suitable for the entrance area due to their narrow depth.
Place a beautiful mirror above it and the room staging is perfect.
