Biedermeier cherry tree cabinet

Biedermeier cupboard, German, around 1820. Cherrywood veneer on a softwood body with coffered door panels on the sides, selected fine cherrywood. 

Body resting on pedestals with cassette panels, framed by fine ebonized thread inlays in dyed bog oak. Ebonized key sockets.

Original lock and key. 2 drawers with locking.

Very good workmanship and condition!
