Semicircular bar with a marble top
This Semicircular bar with a marble top is made of palisander with black lacquer and a green natural stone marble top, manufactured in France around 1950-60, is a classic example of Art Deco style furniture. Art Deco style was particularly popular in the 1920s and 1930s and was inspired by the aesthetics of modernity and the machine age.
Semi-circular shape and palisander wood are typical of Art Deco furniture, as are the use of contrasting colors such as black and green. The marble natural stone top adds additional elegance and sophistication to the bar. The bar likely also features a variety of functions, such as shelves for drinks, glasses, and bar tools.
As the bar dates from the 1950s or 1960s, it may also be influenced by a certain retro-modern attitude that was popular during this time. In any case, a semi-circular Art Deco home bar is a unique and stylish addition to any room.
