The Etling-France manufactory was a renowned French company known in the 20th century for its high-quality glassware and ceramics.

The firm was founded by Edmond Laurent Etling in 1909 and was based in Paris. Etling, who had previously worked for the renowned glass manufactory Lalique, had a desire to start his own company and specialize in the production of high-quality art objects.

Etling-France quickly became known for its elegant glassworks, including vases, bowls, perfume bottles, and sculptures. Most pieces were designed in the opulent Art Deco style, which was very popular at that time. The company also produced ceramics and porcelain, which were also designed in the Art Deco style.

Etling-France worked with a number of talented artists, including Paul Jouve, Marcel Bouraine, Lucille Sevin, and Claire Colinet. These artists designed many of the pieces that were produced by the manufactory and helped make Etling-France one of the leading art craft companies in France.

In the 1930s, the company began to struggle due to the economic difficulties associated with the Great Depression. Etling eventually sold the company in 1936 to his business partner Charles Schneider, who continued to operate the company under the name “Schneider-Etling.” The company continued to produce art objects, but the style and quality of the pieces changed over time.

Today, Etling-France is mainly known and coveted by collectors and lovers of decorative arts. Many of the pieces produced by the company can be found in museums and private collections around the world.
