This classic Art Deco chest of drawers from France, circa 1925, impresses with its clean, architectural form and the striking contrast of exquisite materials. The body is finished in deep black lacquer and frames the front of finely grained walnut. Its vibrant pattern is mirrored and accentuated in the center by a subtle, lighter band.
The chest features three large drawers with six nickel-plated knobs, which elegantly soften the austere design and underscore the typical, understated yet luxurious Art Deco character. A profiled base gives the piece stability and presence. Therefore, it is ideal as stylish storage in the living room, bedroom, or entryway.
